Goa, the smallest state on India’s western coast, is one of the most well-known because of its rich heritage, friendly locals, tropical temperature, beautiful beaches, and diverse handicrafts. The North of the island developed into a hippy paradise in the 1960s and 1970s, a location to get away from it all that swiftly turned into a party area for travelers. It was the ideal beginning for those visiting India alone. Naturally, a location changes more and over time the more well-known it gets.
