Cherrapunji(Meghalaya)

The first thing to do in Cherapunji is to walk on the living root bridge which is free. The bridge is 3 km long its 12 km from the city center. The best time to visit is in the morning for trekking. The point is the attraction for trekkers and photo enthusiasts.
Boating(Meghalaya)

Visit Asia’s cleanest Village(Meghalaya)
A tourism publication referred to Mawlynnong village as the “Cleanest Village in Asia.” The town, also known as “God’s Own Garden,” is a superb illustration of community-based ecotourism. On top of the tallest tree in the forest, which is about 80 feet high, the residents have built a spectacular Sky View platform out of bamboo. It provides a panoramic perspective of Bangladesh and a bird’s eye view of the village (the border of Bangladesh is only a few kilometers away). Mawlynnong is located in the East Khasi Hills, a 3-hour journey from Shillong. There is lodging available in a modest village guesthouse or a cottage on stilts.
The waterfalls and Krang Suri are both in Meghalaya. In the West Jaintia Hills, close to Jowai, about an hour northeast of Dawki and about three hours southeast of Shillong, is this tiny but beautiful waterfall. To get an alluring view of the waterfall, you’ll need to descend a trail of stairs for about 20 minutes. Entry tickets cost 50 rupees. Take your Swimming costumes as swimming is possible, however, you’ll be advised to wear a life jacket. There are restrooms and changing areas available.
Mawphlang(Meghalaya)
A Khasi Heritage Village with several designs of fictitious tribal homes is located near the sacred forest. Try the lovely David Scott trail from Mawphlang to Lad Mawphlang if you’re feeling active and want to spend the day in the great outdoors. It is a section of an ancient horse route that dates to the British era. Members of the tribe also sacrifice animals and burn their deceased inside them. There are a lot of hea herbs that have healing properties to be used and sold.
Iewduh Bara Bazar(Meghalaya)
a great opportunity for shopping lovers this market is one of the oldest traditional markets just make sure to go early or be ready to fight. Local Khasi women travel to this busy and crowded market in the center of Shillong, one of the busiest traditional-style markets in northeast India, to sell their fresh vegetables and cattle. There are also some delicious local street foods available. Except on Sundays, it is open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Elephant Water Falls (Meghalaya)
The best time to visit this fall is January to August and it is 11km from Shillong. This magnificent waterfall consists of three falls, originally given its name during the British era after a rock that looked like an elephant. The second fall is weak in comparison to the first, which is a wide one and hidden by trees. The third one stands out, though, with milky white water gleefully cascading down fern-covered rocks. Elephant Falls descended cautiously as there is a set of slick, steep steps with dense vegetation on either side. There are benches on both the first and second levels. You can relax and take pictures from there also.
Mawsmai Caves(Meghalaya)

While explorEspecially with their odd curves, swirls, grooves, and cragginess, they’ll make you gape. During the day, they receive plenty of natural light, allowing you to navigate without using torching the maze of caves here, keep in mind that you may occasionally need to bend over and squeeze.
Trek At Laitlum Canyon(Meghalaya)

It is breathtaking to see the variety of colors, from browns to different reds at sunrise and sunset, and earthy tones during the day, along with the seemingly endless expanse of space on all four sides.
You Shouldn’t Miss The Lalong Park(Meghalaya)
this park is a hidden gem frequently overlooked as people think they also have park Meghalaya nearby. It is located approximately 10 km from Jowai. The beautiful green panorama of the Myndtu River and the valley is a tonic for weary eyes. To make the Park more environmentally relevant, the state government has made steps. Fishing and hikes are both excellent ways to unwind and enjoy Meghalaya’s natural surroundings.
