Chandrashila Trek Overview
With mesmerizing summit views of Kedar, Chaukhamba, and the Himalayas, the Chandrashila trek, at an altitude of 12,083 ft. is one of the most suitable treks for beginners. A visit to the holy Tugnath temple, famous for being the highest Shiva temple in the world offers you a vantage point in the trek.
The journey to the trek takes you through Rishikesh, Sari, and Chopta, and the way is surrounded by vivacious patches of pine, oaks, and rhododendron. When here you can also indulge in bird-watching activities and lakeside picnics. Do not miss watching, the golden-breasted eagles that are a mesmerizing sight from the summit.
About the trekking experience:
Starting from Haridwar, the journey will take you through the famous Har ki Pauri, Chopta, and Sari along with the numerous tiny hamlets as you ascend to the top.
On your way, onlook the beauty of Kedar, Chaukhamba, Nanda Devi, Bandarpunch and also the Deoria Tal lake. While on the trek, you can also meditate at the famous Tugnath temple.
The entire distance of around 10 KM, will be covered in 4 days. An experienced guide will accompany you throughout the trek.
You can enjoy the beautiful views of the peaks from your stay in the high-quality alpine tents or guesthouses.
Hearty breakfast, lunch and dinner (vegetarian) are all included in the package. If you like exploring different cuisines then you try out the local Garhwali and Kumaoni delicacies in this region.
Ensure that you stay covered with thermals and enough jackets to withstand the temperature that is between 8°C to 15°C during the day and -5°C to 3°C in the night.
All equipment, meal areas, accommodation, etc. are sanitized before and after every use to ensure the utmost safety and hygiene of the trekkers.

Chopta Chandrashila trek Itinerary
Day : 00 Overnight Journey Delhi to Haridwar (210 km / 06 hrs) – Time – 11:00 PM
Arrive In Delhi By Flight Or Train. Vaishali metro station is the pickup point and then the transfer will to Haridwar departure 11:00 PM. We’ll Reach Haridwar after 06 hrs.
Day : 01 Haridwar – Guptkasahi/Ukhimath (180 km / 09 hrs) – Time – 07:00 AM
In the morning enjoy Breakfast and Tea on the way to a beautiful location. Then, we’ll Drive to Guptkasahi, lunch while traveling (charges have to pay by yourself), after reaching Guptkasahi in the evening, Check-in to your hotel, and relax and enjoy music with bonfire and dance. Dinner will be provided at the hotel on time and overnight stay at the Deluxe hotel Guptkasahi/Ukhimath.
Day : 02 Chopta – Tungnath & Chandrashila – Trek Time – 07:00 AM
In the next day, morning take an enjoyment by having a cup of tea and hill’s breakfast, it will give your day a booming start with the breathtaking views of Tungnath and Chandrashila peaks. The adventures day will get remember you of the dreams of the marvel series. So it’s time to trek to the majestic peaks of Tungnath and Chandrashila. After spending some time in Tungnath and Chandrashila, back to the campsite and have some more fun & leisure at the hotel/camp, with some music and mesmerizing views of the Himalayas enjoy your dinner.
Day : 03 Sari Village to Devoriatal Trek to Delhi – Time – 05:00 AM
After spending 2 beautiful nights in Chopta, today morning trek to Devoriatal 3km and back 12pm sari Village and it’s time to leave. This day we’re heading back to our place with lots of memories.
So try to grab your seats reserved and dont miss the chance of making a tour of the famous and pious places of uttarakhand. With our appearance we will make sure to give the most memorable moments of the Tungnath tour and enjoyable day nights with god goddess blessings.
